LuJuana Allen-Lightfoot


LuJuana Allen-Lightfoot is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over eight years of experience working with teens, emerging adults, and adults encompassing a vast amount of backgrounds and presenting concerns. She received a Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University
She comes into the field with a diverse scope of specialized training in settings such as public and therapeutic day schools, social service, hospitals, and residential settings enabling her to work effectively with individuals struggling with a wide array of issues.

As a professionally trained clinician, she provides individual, group, and relational counseling. She believes in utilizing an eclectic approach to therapy; tailoring evidence-based practices to fit the client’s unique individual needs to maximize growth and progress. Standing from that framework, she specializes in treating Anxiety, Mood, Trauma, and Relationship Concerns utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
Her goal as a therapist is to empower and support you throughout your personal journey. She works to provide a safe, nurturing environment; allowing her clients to feel comfortable while assisting them with developing the skills necessary to lead their lives in more meaningful ways and better understand and respond to their emotions.
